This is a good one to come back to you with because I know you know it’s been a while since I blogged. If you know me, you know I’ve personally had FOUR boudoir sessions done. Why? Because every time I do it, the images get stronger. I get more confident. That feeling is incomparable and I’m STOKED that I’m getting clients who see the value in doing a boudoir session more than just once.

This girl is one of the most important people in my life. And to think, we would have never met if she hadn’t done a model call with me! I managed to get her tush back in with me one more time before our super brief stint up in NC (I’m flying back to Florida every other month, so don’t freak out). There’s something about the second time in front of the camera and it’s an honor when someone allows me to be their photographer not once, but twice. To watch the way someone’s spirit just blooms as their confidence grows is easily one of my top reasons for being a boudoir photographer.

Of course, N can tell you herself what the difference between shoot one and shoot two are:

Session #2 with the amazingly talented Manda in the books! I was going back and forth about booking one before she moved from the area and by the time I decided I did want to, she was all booked for her marathon weekend and I was crushed! But when a last min opening popped up, there was no question about it. I was really excited for the shoot because after the initial nerves were worked out in the first session, I felt more comfortable to go a little more edgy and daring (at least in my head I did, lol) and I couldn’t be more thrilled at how the work came out. The hair and make up was perfectly done by Jackie, she was such a bright and happy person to talk to while getting ready anyways, so she made sure the overall mood was right on track with the whole experience for the day. And of course, working with Manda was an absolute blast! The location was beautiful, she had a lot of ideas that she wanted to try, but she also asked me if there was anything I was thinking of trying, too. She doesn’t just care about getting her poses and shots and angels, she wants to know what you want, how you feel, what you’re thinking. She takes the time to make sure you are happy with the whole day and experience. And even though she had the whole day/weekend full of photoshoots, she made the session feel like it was her only shoot and all her attention and focus was 100% on me. She has this amazing power in which she reminds you that you are this beautiful woman, no matter how you feel you look. She gives you back the feeling of confidence in yourself that we are all guilty of losing. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful and amazing Manda is!
